The kids were out of school on Friday and we had a fun filled day planned...including, playing dress up, playing outside in the enormous back yard of close friends,
having a picnic, dying Easter eggs and having a Easter egg hunt.
It was a great day until as we were leaving Huntley
decided to climb onto this little bridge and fall head
first off the top
(don't worry I was standing right next to him and it still happened). Notice the bruise on his head, and he always seems to land on the same side.
We were suppose to meet for breakfast and then the BIG Easter egg hunt but our friends ended up getting sick and to
our disappointment this year the Easter Egg Hunt was on Friday
instead of Saturday. Riley was a little disappointed
but she got over it pretty quickly when she found out we
were doing something else.
Sunday was a good day, we went to our meetings, and came
home to a big feast and spent time together as a family
and reflected on what this holiday
is really about.
