Oh Christmas Tree!!

Our favorite part about getting a Christmas tree is going out with all the family, hiking in knee deep snow, climbing over fences, getting in snowball fights, drinking hot chocolate and finally finding the PERFECT tree (although most of the time that never happens because they don't look the same when you get them home). This year was fun it was just "us" which isn't a bad thing except when you don't wear your SNOW BOOTS or you have to help lift the tree in the truck and your husband is laughing the whole time because he realizes (thinking to himself) that you are a wimp....but is still so sweet to you. Riley was afraid of the snow probably because she remembered the traumatic event of being flipped over onto her face in the snow last year needless to say we ended up driving most of the time. It turned out great though because Seth found us a {bushy} wonderful smelling tree this year.

(My "sexy" lumberjack)

Riley loves the balls and the lights on the tree, she has already bit into one and broke it (maybe she thought it was candy that lit up)...hopefully she doesn't do that again or we might have to pay a visit to the ER.

Purple and silver are our colors this year, he placed everything just right, making it look elegant, simple and bushy.

That sounds like a fun tradition! We always use a fake tree. The only thing I miss is the smell. I can do without the sap!
