Snow day

We decided to have a snow day even though there was no snow outside.

The kids bundled up in there hats and gloves.

Then snuggled in their sleeping bags.

It was a great snow day.

All we needed was the snowman out front.

A little surprise

Riley is a little sneaky girl especially when it comes to her bedtime. Most of the time it comes quicker than she wants it to and then she starts to beg us to give her two more minutes, this is after story, song and prayers. 

This is what I discovered the other morning when I went in her room.  It is a night light covered in black electrical tape.  I asked her, w hy did you put tape all over your night light?

Her response: It was cold and needed to be covered.

Daily Riley: She had an accident in her pants, I asked why she didn't go in the toilet

Her response: I didn't want to, I felt it coming and didn't stop it so I just went in my pants.
