Lots of tears

When Jesse turned 18 months I was thrilled.
Not because I liked him getting older but
because he was going to go to nursery.
I wouldn't have to spend most of my time in the halls at church.

The first day he went into nursery he walked in like a champ.
I was prepared for tears.
There was nothing,  in all reality I was shocked.
Anytime I left him he would always cry but a few minutes
later got over it.

The next time we took him to nursery there were tears.
Not just little tears, lots of tears and screaming.
I felt bad for the nursery leaders so I took him out or
they would bring him to me.
Since the first day he hasn't been back without me there with him.
Yesterday Seth dropped him off.
Tears and screaming for 40 minutes.
No consoling, bribing, or calming.

Needless to say he doesn't like nursery.
I am not sure what I am going to do about it.

Jesse turns 1

This little guy turned 1 a few months ago!
He has brought so much happiness into our home!!
He is such a calm and sweet boy!!

He wants to be BIG like his older brother and sister.
He has taken a few nose dives off of the bed trying to do what they do.
Him and Huntley are finally starting to get a long a little bit.

He is walking all over the place.
Has a full mouth full of teeth. He doesn't cut one tooth he does 4 at a time.
He loves to be outside, loves to play in the water.
Loves to play with his sister.

Our little man

This little guy is 9 months old today.
He seems to be growing and doing things at rapid speed.
He got his first two teeth at 5 months.
Started crawling on Christmas day, and now is
 pulling himself up onto things.
I think he might walk before his first birthday and
that kind of scares me.

He crawls fast and is pretty much into everything.
He likes to get in the cupboard and pull out the
dishes and hear them break.
He wants to keep up with his brother and sister and is
trying really hard at accomplishing that.

He now has 6 teeth, cut 4 teeth at one time, poor kid!
He loves to eat...and wants to try everything.
We love having him around and Riley is always trying to be his mom.

Blessing

A few months ago this little guy got a blessing.
Seth did a beautiful job and the spirit was strong.
All of our family was there and even though we may not have seen them
I felt my parents presence there.

Jesse has brought such a sweet spirit into our home.
He is loved and snuggled a lot.
His smile and laugh are very contagious.
We feel very blessed to be his parents and have such a sweet family.

A few things about this sweet boy.
At 5 1/2 months he got his FIRST teeth.
When he gets excited he kind of sounds like a dog panting
Huntley imitates him all the time.
It is the cutest thing.
He is the happiest baby most ALL the time.
He can roll over.
He has brought such a sweet spirit into our home..
We all LOVE to snuggle him A LOT!!

He is GROWING to fast.

Three months

When this little bundle of joy joined our family we were over joyed.
He was a breath of fresh air since he has arrived.
Just what we needed.
Now I am not sure what the kids would do without him.
He lets them hold him, snuggle him and love on him.

He is always pretty happy.
I can't believe it has already been three months since we brought him home.

A few fun facts we LOVE about him

*He likes to smile especially when you talk to him
*He loves to eat
*He loves to be wrapped up and rocked to sleep
*He loves his brother and sister and smiles when he hears their voice
*He is starting to giggle
*He has man smelling toots
*When he was 2 months he weighed 9 lbs and was 22 inches long
*He is pretty laid back
*He only cries when he is hungry

We feel blessed he is part of our family

My boys

Thank goodness for brothers,
Huntley is definitely warming up to his brother.
He will actual touch, hug and tell him he loves him now.
I couldn't ask for sweeter boys :)

Happiness

Since my parents passed away I have felt a bit of anxiety over this pregnancy, not because I didn't want to be pregnant but because I wasn't going to have my mom in the delivery room with me.  She has been there for not only me but some of my sister n law's as well.
She has this sweet spirit that just calms the room.

The delivery went flawlessly.
Seth was a rockstar as I knew he would be.
I felt at peace when Jesse made his first appearance into this world.
She was there even if it were for a few minutes.
He is perfect in everyway.
I know she would love him and think I did great.
I am glad she got to meet him before I did.

Babies and the gospel make happiness possible.
I am glad I have both.

We are in LOVE!

I can't get over that we are a family of 5 now!!
Can you believe it?
This little guy is perfect.

I started having contractions about 6 pm, it could have been from a number of things, the kids and I went for a walk early that morning.  That afternoon I went to a friends and we played some basketball, then after we finished she gave me a foot massage hitting my pressure points and I started having contractions.  With all those fun things going on I just figured he wanted to come meet us.

At 8 pm, Seth began timing the contractions and they were 3 - 5 minutes apart.
They began to get stronger and stronger with each one.
I figured that this time the baby was going to be here quicker than the last.
We got to the hospital about 10 pm.
We had him at 11:32 pm so it was fast.

Everything went well and he is healthy happy little boy!
