I feel

I am sick.

I miss my Mom.

I thought it was just allergies, then my eyes, throat and head started to hurt.

I took a shower until the water turned cold.



Why do Mom's know so much?

We use to call her Dr. Ruth, she had a solution to everything.

I cried today.

Sometimes life is hard, but I know this is my test.

I am not sure I am passing it right now.

Tomorrow I will do better.

This girl of mine

Look at this girl she is pretty cute huh?  Of course all smiles and wearing her dad's uniform for softball.  Did I mention we are playing on a co-ed team together?   I haven't gotten to play yet, but it will come. 

I am not at all surprised how good Mr. Gaston is.

A few low downs of whats been going on.  We got the stomach bug that was going around...Riley first (she started in the car while I was driving to an appointment...good times) then Huntley (his was in his bed) and then me (started on my way to the valley, turned around and came home) there is nothing like puking your guts out and your children by your side imitating you.  Mr. Gaston's started while he was on a business trip to Vegas and I felt so bad that I wasn't there to take care of him. 

I think he got it the worst.

Riley and Huntley love to play with each other however, Riley LOVES to tease him more...although Huntley is giving Riley a dose of her own medicine and she doesn't like it much. 

Daily Riley: I went into the bathroom and noticed water all over the stool next to the toilet, then to my amazement (not really) I asked Riley if she had an accident, she said no I just didn't want to go in the toilet.

Around here

Huntley is a LOVER, every morning he wakes up a few hours

before Riley and just waits for her to wake up and when she does he runs up to her and puts his arms around her...Riley not so much a lover (except when she gets hurt or is not feeling well)  At first she didn't like it but now she hugs him right back and it is the cutest thing to watch.  When they are not fighting they are usually getting a long and making home life so peaceful. 

It was a long weekend, Riley started getting sick on Thursday and has since spread her sickness to the ENTIRE household including me who is trying really hard not to get sick because who is going to take care of the sicklings if I am sick.  Riley has had an awful cough, fever and runny nose and now Huntley has it. 

I think I have told her to cover her mouth a gazillion times

when she coughs or sneezes but that doesn't always work.

 I don't like it when they are sick.  

Hopefully we will be on the mend soon.

Sick days

I have been back and forth from the bed to the couch for the past two days.... I would almost be asleep and either Riley or Huntley would come and make sure I was up.  I LOVE these two so much and I felt bad I hardly interacted with them, it is no fun to be sick with little ones. However, I must say Riley is a good BIG sister and keeps Huntley entertained for the most part well that is until she makes him scream!!

On a side note Seth had his final race last night (well at least I thought it was his last).  He raced the bomber and the dwarf car, he got 3rd place in the bomber and didn't end up finishing the dwarf car because something went wrong with the car.  He has his last bomber race next weekend and then he will be done with racing for the season!!  It will be nice to have him home a little more.
